Spectrometer Probes
All s::can spectrometer probes work on the same principle: spectrometry. The s::can spectrometer probes are the first and only probes in the world that can measure optical spectra in the range 190 to 720 nm directly in liquids. Substances contained in the liquid attenuate a light beam that is sent through it. A detector measures the light beam as it travels through the liquid and determines how much light has been absorbed.
spectro::lyser V3™
The spectro::lyser V3 is a fully submersible UV/Vis spectrophotometer that measures across the entire absorption spectrum from 190-750 nm and is used by many water suppliers worldwide to monitor water quality.
spectro::lyser V3 measures many significant water quality parameters in a single device, including TOC, DOC, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biological oxygen demand (BOD), UVT/UV254, turbidity, total suspended solids (TSS), nitrate (NO3), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), spectral fingerprint, spectral alarm and benzene, toluene and xylene (BTX). The parameter set of spectro::lyser V3 can be customized, meaning each parameter can be tailored to your unique needs. You only pay for the parameters you want to measure. Add new parameters any time.

moni::tool
moni::tool is a revolutionary new platform for the management of measuring stations, online probes and analyzers. Whether it is installed in a large monitoring network or as a stand-alone station, moni::tool’s intuitive software and state of the art features are an essential backbone for sensor and station management.
moni::tool looks at the whole system: hardware, software and operator. Only this all enveloping approach can guarantee that operational control and / or event detection work reliably.
The s::can software package for water quality monitoring is split into three modules:
moni::tool™ - Sensor and Station Management
- Provides management of probes and stations. It documents critical manipulations, from user login to maintenance and logbook keeping. It also has intuitive visualization tools to display all information in a clear and easy to understand format.
vali:.tool - Data Validation
- Automatically detects, marks and (optionally) corrects untrustworthy data. It ensures only high quality data are fed into the event detection module. It also provides the user with indications on sensor maintenance requirements, as well as automatic detection of malfunctions.
